If your car’s complete but beyond repair, or it’s too far gone mechanically, it’s likely scrap — it’ll be recycled responsibly, and the price won’t be affected by cosmetic or mechanical issues (as long as nothing’s missing!).

If your car could still be fixed, used for parts, or put back on the road, it’s considered for salvage. The condition, mileage, damage, and mechanical issues will influence the price.
