When you book, you’ll get a full confirmation with all the details of what to expect. Before collection day, we’ll send you a reminder by SMS and email, letting you know what you need to have ready.
On the day, the driver will give you a call (usually around an hour before arriving) to double-check you’re available before they set off. It’s important you answer, or call us back quickly if you miss it, because we need a clear go-ahead before the truck heads your way.
If we can’t reach you, your collection may be put on hold until we’ve spoken to you. And if we can’t collect because we couldn’t confirm access or availability, it may count as a missed appointment and a £65 cancellation/attendance fee could apply (as set out in your booking email and Car Selling Terms).
Top tip: If you know in advance that you won’t be available, let us know as soon as possible so we can sort out alternative arrangements.
We’ll use the phone number you gave us when booking, so make sure it’s one you’ve got handy!
